## The Role of HRGA at the Site Level
As a cornerstone of our operational efficiency, the Site Human Resources and General Affairs (HRGA) department ensures that all administrative functions, site facilities, and logistical services operate with precision. This role is vital in maintaining regulatory compliance and supporting the seamless productivity of our plantation operations.
Key Responsibilities in Human Resources (HR)
The HR function serves as the heartbeat of our workforce management, focusing on:
* Personnel Lifecycle Management: Overseeing end-to-end administrative processes, including onboarding, promotions, transfers, demotions, and offboarding.
* Data and Compliance: Maintaining accurate personnel records, monitoring attendance patterns, and ensuring strict adherence to labor regulations.
* Strategic Communication: Acting as the primary bridge between plantation units, the Head Office, and relevant external stakeholders regarding workforce needs.
* Reporting: Developing comprehensive, periodic monitoring reports to evaluate HRGA performance and departmental impact.
Core Duties in General Affairs (GA)
General Affairs is responsible for the environment in which our team lives and works, including:
* Facility Oversight: Managing mess hall operations, including occupancy, hygiene, facility security, and overall comfort for employees.
* Asset and Fleet Management: Coordinating vehicle maintenance, inventory tracking, and tax compliance for all operational machinery.
* Maintenance Coordination: Regularly inspecting operational equipment to ensure peak performance and longevity.
* Issue Resolution: Serving as a point of contact for employee grievances and ensuring prompt, professional service improvements.
