PT JIEP is currently seeking a dedicated professional to fill the permanent position (PKWTT) of Health & Safety Officer. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a secure, compliant, and productive working environment across the corporate ecosystem.
Core Responsibilities
* Program Execution & Compliance: Implement and document all Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) programs in strict compliance with prevailing regulations, standard operating procedures, and management systems.
* Risk Management & Inspection: Conduct hazard identifications, risk assessments, operational inspections, and routine monitoring to prevent workplace accidents, occupational illnesses, fires, and explosions.
* Emergency Response & Mitigation: Execute rapid response protocols and necessary follow-up actions in the event of accidents, fires, or other operational hazards.
* Performance Evaluation: Measure and evaluate OHS performance metrics, deliver strategic recommendations, and draft actionable proposals to elevate the company's safety standards.
* Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with internal and external parties regarding safety audits, inspections of fire extinguishers, generators, lightning rods, and generate comprehensive statutory reports.
* Education & Monitoring: Conduct training sessions and monitor the consistent application of health and safety standards across businesses within the commercial zone.
* Quality Alignment: Ensure unit targets align seamlessly with Service Level Agreements and Integrated Management Systems encompassing quality objectives, anti-bribery measures, and OHS protocols.
* Continuous Improvement: Formulate and propose innovative enhancements to leadership for ongoing operational refinement.
Candidate Requirements
* Educational Background: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) or Public Health.
* Professional Experience: At least 2 years of proven working experience in the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) sector.
* Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
* Team Dynamics: Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Work Ethic: Highly proactive, possessing strong initiative, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under tight deadlines.
Essential Technical Competencies
* Certifications: Must possess a valid General OHS Expert certificate (Ahli K3 Umum) issued by the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia.
* HSE Expertise: Proficient in HSE Management systems, risk assessment, risk controlling, workplace inspections, and professional reporting.
* Design Skills: Preferred proficiency in graphic design and editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, and Canva.
* Language Proficiency: Solid command of the English language with a minimum TOEFL score of 400.
* Software Literacy: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
